Earlier this month we saw the release of the popular yearly product, 2023 Topps Inception. Inception has been produced for both Topps and Bowman for the last few years and features some of the best players in the world. Boxes are now available for purchase both online and in-store now!

- 1 Autograph or Autograph Relic Card
Topps Inception has been flying off the shelves for us so far this year and for good reason. We’ve had customers tell us of some amazing hits they’ve had in boxes. From Corbin Carroll autographs to Ronald Acuna Jumbo Patch Autographs. The hits have been coming fast and loud!
The checklist for this product looks incredible as well. It’s loaded with top MLB rookies and stars like Jordan Walker, Shohei Ohtani, and Julio Rodriguez. I’d love to hit one of the ‘Team Logo Patch Booklet Autographs’ which feature a sizable patch of the team's logo. This card would be awesome to have and they are serial numbered to 2!
We had to open a box for ourselves to get a taste of this new product. Below are all of our hits from our box, which wasn’t the best box I’ve ever seen.
Starting off with some of the base rookie cards. We’ve got a nice mix of players here with the best probably being Kodai Senga who was just announced as a Topps Rookie Cup recipient today!
Our two parallels were an Oswaldo Cabrera Green and a Shane Bieber Red numbered to 75 copies. I would’ve loved to have the other Yankees rookie middle infielder, but we’ll take it.
Finally, our autograph was of White Sox Outfielder Andrew Vaughn which was numbered to only 50 copies. Vaughn is coming off of the most homeruns of his young career with 21 while not playing everyday. Hopefully some time in the future he can crack the everyday line-up for the White Sox.
Overall, I don’t think our box was great. While we did hit two numbered cards including an autograph neither was a rookie.
